Road to Freedom is a Quest for Fallout 4. Travel to Boston Common to a fountain with a sign that says "At Journey's End Follow Freedom's Lantern". On the ground will be written "A7".
I followed the Freedom Trail looking for the Railroad. I'm not your enemy.
How to Unlock Road to Freedom Quest in Fallout 4
- You can come about this quest via several methods. The following will put you on the trail to The Railroad:
- Investigating the area around Park Street Station. You are in this area during the Main Quest Unlikely Valentine.
- Speaking with Doctor Amari at the beginning of The Molecular Level.
- Overhearing conversation from people in Goodneighbor or in Diamond City.

Fallout 4 Road to Freedom Quest Walkthrough
You can come about this quest via several methods. The following will put you on the trail to The Railroad:- Investigating the area around Park Street Station. You are in this area during the Main Quest Unlikely Valentine.
- Speaking with Doctor Amari at the beginning of The Molecular Level.
- Overhearing conversation from people in Goodneighbor or in Diamond City.
Travel to Boston Common to a fountain with a sign that says "At Journey's End Follow Freedom's Lantern". On the ground will be written "A7". Follow the red brick path around to the Massachusetts State House where you will find "L4". Continue the path to the Old Granary Burying Ground to find "A2". Continue the path to the Old State House where you will find O6. Continue following the trail to the Old Corner Bookstore where you will find "3I". You will have to get through an assortment of enemies here.
Continue the path to Faneuil Hall where you will find the mark "5R". There will be another batch of enemies to dispatch here. Afterwards continue the trail to Paul Revere House to find the mark "8D". There will be more enemies here. No one ever said freedom was a walk in the park!
The trail continues to Old North Church where you find the mark "1R". On the church door is a painted lantern, indicating that you have arrived at your destination.
Enter the church and follow the lanterns to the Freedom Trail Ring and spin it until it spells out the word Railroad (press the button on each letter as you spell). Speak with Desdemona, the Faction leader. Agree to join the cause to gain admittance.
