Water, Food, or Power is a repeatable and randomly available Radiant Quest in Fallout 4. You can obtain it by speaking to Preston Garvey, listening to Radio Freedom or by visiting a Settlement that happens to be in need of help. The overall objectives are similar but the locations vary depending on who is in need of help. They are vital for protecting your settlement network.

Walkthrough

Visit the settlement in need of resources, and access the Workshop. Add either water, food, or power until the objective is met, then talk to the settlers. Speak to the quest giver to receive your caps reward.
