Walkthrough

Speak to Elder Maxson after touring the ship and she will ask you to go to Fort Strong and eliminate the Super Mutant forces encamped there. You can use the vertibird Minigun here to soften up the enemy before engaging them on foot.

Eliminate all the enemies on the ground and enter the fort's armory to finish the eradication. Speak to Paladin Danse before returning to The Prydwen to be rewarded with Vertibird Fast-Travel. Return to the ship and speak to Elder Maxson to receive Vertibird Signal Grenade 8x

If you have not completed the main quest Institutionalized, the Brotherhood quest From Within becomes available. If you have completed Institutionalized, the Brotherhood quest Outside the Wire becomes available.

Note:
This quest is occasionally bugged getting into the vertibird after leaving the Prywen. Once you land at the airport, if you cannot located the vertibird you are supposed to take at the airport, you can still complete the quest by traveling to Fort Strong on foot. If you have been to Nordhagen Beach via The Minutemen questline, fast traveling there then heading straight to Fort Strong triggers the quest to continue once you enter Fort Strong.

• This mission must be done wearing the Power Armor, or else the system will not let you complete the final task.
