Ada is a Companion in Fallout 4. Ada is a modified robot that specializes in mechanical repairs and trade. Companions are the different characters you will encounter while exploring Locations in the game who you can recruit to join you during the campaign. They have their preferences and character alignment which affects their Affinity Level. Raising their Affinity Level to the maximum will reward players with a unique Companion Perk or pursue Romance if available. Ada cannot be romanced.

How to Recruit Ada in Fallout 4
To unlock or recruit Ada in Fallout 4, you have to do the following:
- Complete the Mechanical Menace. Head over to Wattz Consumer Electronics, and you will stumble upon her and her caravan under attack. Save her from the bandits to recruit Ada.
Where to Find Ada in Fallout 4
You will first encounter Ada just outside Wattz Consumer Electronics. This content requires Automatron DLC.
Fallout 4 Ada Information
Ada is one of the companions released in the Automatron DLC. Ada is a female robot heavily modified to cater to mechanical repairs and trades. She was originally created by Jackson, a merchant leader traveling with his team. However, they caught the attention of the Mechanist and have been a victim of subsequent attacks. Ada is the last survivor of their team and will ask for your assistance to eliminate the robots that attacked them.
Ada Starting Gear
Ada starts with the following item/s upon recruiting them:
- Ada begins the game as part of the merchant Jackson's team, and thus, she doesn't have any weapon on her. However, you can fully customize her on the Workbench.
Ada Companion Perk
- Ada is one of the companions who do not mind your actions, and thus, no affinity level is to be gained, and she doesn't have a unique perk as well.
All Ada Quests
The following Quests listed below are related to Ada in Fallout 4:
- Mechanical Menace: You will hear a distress call and follow the signal picked up by the radar. Then, you will find Ada's caravan is under attack by the Mechanist's robots, and the Sole Survivor can choose to help them.
- A New Threat: Ada will ask for your assistance in confronting the leader of the attackers.
- Headhunting: Locating the first radar beacon is just the start. Ada will ask the Sole Survivor to keep looking for others to find the location of the Mechanist.
- Restoring Order: Now that Ada knows the location of the Mechanist, she will ask for your assistance to stop them.
- Rogue Robot: In the instance that Isabel Cruz is killed at the end of Restoring Order quest, Ada will gain a new interaction where you can ask her to scan for remaining Mechanist robots in the Commonwealth.
