- Softshell Mirelurks have shells that are extremely resistant to damage.
- Face and underside are weak spots
- Mingun and .44 pistol are extremely effective
- Can follow you underwater.

Notes
- To deal high amounts of damage, use explosives or shoot it in the torso, which hides behind the shell for most of the time.
- Standard melee weapons are not very effective
- Usually travel in groups of 2
- Make a chattering sound when walking
