This maybe a bug but i test it, i had a Never Ending Modified .38 pipe rifle befor and when i had a chance i change the ammo type to .45, than i realized that the gun is no longer unlimit ammo anymore even its name still has that "Never Ending" at the front of the name of the gun. Even i try to load my save befor i modified the gun and still using the .38 like a normal pipe rifle. This must be a bug.

The best weapon to have this on would be ones with small mag sizes like the double barrel shotgun or a revolver or a flare gun. For weapon crafting with this legendary go with whatever mag size is the lightest weight cuz you don’t have to worry about reloading. The other good options for this legendary is guns with absurdly long reload times like the mini gun or automatic guns like the sub machine gun. — The Fist of Fury
