This maybe a bug but i test it, i had a Never Ending Modified .38 pipe rifle befor and when i had a chance i change the ammo type to .45, than i realized that the gun is no longer unlimit ammo anymore even its name still has that "Never Ending" at the front of the name of the gun. Even i try to load my save befor i modified the gun and still using the .38 like a normal pipe rifle. This must be a bug.

Neverending means that it has an unlimited magazine, this doesnt mean unlimitea mmo just no reloading.
