Fallout 4 MacCready Romance and Affinity Guide

Players can earn a permanent perk by raising MacCready's affinity level to 1000. MacCready has a general affinity and prefers specific behavior from the Sole Survivor. MacCready is one of the companions who prefers violence and dislikes it when the player is being nice, mean, or peaceful. Think of blood and murder to satisfy MacCready, however, MacCready doesn't approve of murdering non-hostiles, so he doesn't want to involve the innocent ones.

Aside from that, MacCready is a character who isn't exactly aligned with good morals, so if you're roleplaying as a bad guy, then he's the companion that you can take with you. Upon raising his affinity to the maximum level, you will earn his permanent companion perk called  Killshot, which boosts headshots in V.A.T.S. by 20%. Unlocking his perk will require a certain level of affinity to unlock and finish his personal quest: Long Road Ahead.
