Jared is an NPC in Fallout 4. You will encounter him in the Corvega Assembly Plant. He is hostile towards you so you will have to kill him.

• Jared is the leader of the Raiders in Lexington
• Jared met Mama Murphy before. She predicted he would become a monster. Her visions came true. So Jared decided to try to get such visions for himself.
• Jared experimented on himself and other subjects with Chems to try to make them have the "visions" like Mama Murphy
• His two hands Lonnie and Gristle helped him gain control of Lexington
• Jared sent out Gristle to hunt down Mama Murphy and "some joker in a cowboy hat with a laser musket" (Preston Garvey)
