Handmade Rifle in Fallout 4 is a Ballistic Weapon. Handmade Rifle is a left-handed handmade weapon that is abundant among the Nuka-World raiders and is an add-on from the Nuka-World DLC. This weapon is powerful and comes with many of the same advantages as the Assault Rifle but also shares some of its drawbacks. Ballistic Weapons are firearms that usually utilize conventional ammunition to inflict damage on targets. Weapons can be modified using the Weapons Workbench. Players would need to reach Local Leader rank 2 perk to craft a Weapons Workbench at a Settlement, or they can find these workbenches scattered all over the Commonwealth.
Fallout 4 Handmade Rifle Information
- This weapon shares many of the same advantages as the Assault Rifle like having stable handling during sustained automatic fire.
- It also shares some of the disadvantages of the Assault Rifle like having high weight and ammo being hard to find.
- Unlike most Ballistic Weapons that often need the Gun Nut and Science! perk to unlock upgrades, you'll need to invest in Rifleman, Commando, and Big Leagues for this one.
- There are 2 other variants for this rifle: Splattercannon and The Problem Solver.

- Unlike in the previous games, weapons in Fallout 4 are divided into three groups: normal, legendary, and unique. Normal weapons lack any special attributes. Legendary weapons come with random bonuses and are exclusively obtained from legendary enemies. Unique weapons come with predetermined names and will always retain the same special bonuses they came with. Unique weapons are often acquired through quests or purchased from merchants. While normal and legendary weapons may alter their names when modded, unique weapons maintain their original names.
